Privacy policy
This page explains, in plain words, what happens to your email when you join Matheus Granjeiro’s list. He is based in Brazil, so the governing law is the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) — a framework close to the GDPR, and the same rights apply to you wherever you live.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the artist Matheus Granjeiro (Matheus Carvalho Granjeiro), Brasília, Brazil. For anything about your data, write through the contact page.
What is collected
- Your email address — the only field in the form.
- The language of the page you signed up on (Portuguese or English), so messages arrive in the right one.
- The minimal technical data an email provider records on delivery (opens, clicks), used only to check that messages are actually getting through.
No name, phone number, address or anything else is requested.
What it is used for
Only to send news about Matheus Granjeiro’s releases, shows and projects. No third parties, no advertising for other brands, no selling or sharing of the list. The legal basis is your consent.
Double opt-in
After submitting the form you receive an email asking you to confirm. If you don’t, the address never joins the list and is deleted automatically by the provider after a few days.
Who processes the data
The list is held on Kit (Kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), which acts as processor and stores the data on servers in the United States. This site itself does not store your email — the form hands the address to Kit through a server-side route, so the provider key never reaches your browser.
How long
For as long as you want the messages. When you unsubscribe, the address stops receiving email immediately and is removed from the active list.
Leaving the list
Every email carries an unsubscribe link in its footer. One click — no login, no reason needed. Or write through the contact page.
Your rights
Under article 18 of the LGPD you can, at any time:
- confirm whether we process your data, and access it;
- correct incomplete or outdated data;
- ask for deletion of data processed on the basis of your consent;
- withdraw consent;
- know who the data has been shared with (answer: Kit only).
Requests are handled by email, free of charge. You may also lodge a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), or with your local authority.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising tools. The only local storage is your choice to close the release banner at the top of the page, which stays in your browser and is sent nowhere.
Changes
If something changes, the date at the top of this page is updated. Material changes to how data is used are announced by email before they take effect.
